Summary:
Manages the operations and activities of the store and staff; executes company policies, procedures, and programs to meet or exceed sales and that contribute to the store’s success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises sales floor, providing high-quality customer service and maintaining merchandising and cleanliness standards.
- Ensures that staff is fully trained and has a full knowledge of all products.
- Ensures sales floor is fully stocked and that the merchandise and visual standards are being upheld.
- Maintains a high level of customer service by ensuring that merchandising /recovery is completed and that register and customer service is processing customers in a timely manner.
- Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops staff; manages schedules and workflow.
- Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of staff; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
- Must be able to perform, and demonstrate subject matter expertise, for all store operations with promptness and accuracy.
- Be aware of all sales goals and communicates daily store goals to store staff and supports in execution of those goals.
- Open and close the store promptly and accurately as scheduled and deposit store funds in bank following standard procedures.
- Handle unusual or critical operational issues such as upset customers, exchanges or refunds, IT problems, fixing receiving or transfer error, register errors, and disaster plan execution.
- Flexibility to work where assigned – store assignment may change periodically.
- Assists with receiving and stock work.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two to four years of related experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of retail operations, onboarding and training, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Regularly required to use hands, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
